Audioslave – I am the highway

This amazing song has been in my head for days..Pearls that swim the rift of me
Long and weary my road has been
I was lost in the cities
Alone in the hills
No sorrow I feel
For anything I feel yea

I am not your rolling wheels
I am a highway
I am not your carpet ride
I am the sky

Friends and liars
Don’t wait for me
Cause I’ll get on
All by myself
Put millions of miles
Under my heels
And still too close to you
I feel

I am not your rolling wheels
I am the highway
I am not your carpet ride
I am the sky
I am not your blowing wind
I am the sky here
I am not your automn moon
I am the night
The night

I am not your rolling wheels
I am the highway
I am not your carpet rag
I am the sky
I am not your blowing wind
I am the lightining
I am not your automon
I am the night

Going around word document protection.

So someone sent me a word document that was write protected, and I needed to edit the file, I had no password, and no way of asking for it…So I looked around the web, and they mentioned that there was a pretty easy way to do this:

Create a new blank document, then insert file, and insert the file that is protected.

Sure this works, however if your file has images or headers and footers, they sometimes get lost in the process. So there has to be a better way.

Here it is:

Save your protected file in RTF format. Then using good old Notepad, open that file up. Look for the following string of text:

formprot/allprot/

Delete that, save the file, open the file, and now you can edit your file.

This has been tested only with Office XP. If you notice some different behavior let me know.

Camping for the first time

I am going camping in a couple of hours for the first time in my life, so if I get chased by a bear should I play dead???Which reminds me of that Bugs Bunny cartoon where the main character played dead, then the bear sniffed him, gaged and trew him away in the trash. Funny!

Regardless, I will miss my computer, I will miss my Fox News Network, and most immportantly my computer. Maybe I should take my laptop with me. I don’t know if bears are attracted to laptops. I should wear a shirt that says:

KEEP AWAY FROM BEARS, DO NOT EAT!

I am a riot, well not really.

ps: If I do make it back, I will post an update, a story about a man and overcoming adversity against all odds.

The Cubs and their one fan

So the Billy Goat Curse seems to be true…It is really unbeliveable that one fan alone changed the momentum of the game, it is possible, but unlikely. If the Cubs were ready to party, put the Marlins away and then this fan and his golden hand changed all that, I think the Cubs need to focus and learn that it is not over until the last out is in the glove.

This poor guy is going to be harassed for weeks to come, maybe longer if the Cubs don’t make it to the World Series. Then we are looking at a man, whose life has dramatically changed because he could not keep his hands to himself. However, it was not only him, in the video shown (about 3 times already on FNN) there was a second man that looked like he was going for it too. The only person with some sense, it seems, was the woman in white, who clearly moved away from the path of the ball, lady, if you read this I hope you moved because of common sense and not because you were scared of the ball. Regardless, I am sure you are happy your hands never attempted to touch that ball.

Enjoy game 7 folks, I am sure one man, will be praying the hardest tonight, may his prayers be answered.

Bare beginnings

So things are starting pretty slow, expect very little until my life slows down some, or I miraculously discover that I can slow down time, or travel back in time…

Perhaps you will be waiting for a while in order for this site to be any where near completion.
